On Saturday, October 1st, 2005 the M.H.S. Warrior Marching Band travelled to West Point, NY to take part in Band Day at the United States Military Academy. There the band joined 12 other high school marching bands that were also invited to tour the historic grounds and watch the “Full Military Review on the Plain” in the morning. After the 1st half of the college football game between the Black Knights of Army and the University of Connecticut all 13 bands totaling over 1000 musicians performed a halftime show on the field including the songs “Blister In The Sun”, “We’re An American Band” and “Knock On Wood”.
